Terms of Service

Effective date: June 30, 2026

These terms govern your use of Beadloom Studio, operated by Jing Qin. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact us at support@beadloomstudio.com.

Account registration and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the service. Notify us immediately at support@beadloomstudio.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Your content

You may upload images and create bead art projects only if you have the rights to use that content. You retain ownership of all content you upload and create within the service. By using Beadloom Studio, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely as necessary to provide the service to you (for example, saving your projects and generating thumbnails). This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except for any data we are legally required to retain.

Intellectual property

Beadloom Studio, its name, logo, user interface, and all underlying code, algorithms, and design elements are the intellectual property of Jing Qin. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond your use of the service as intended. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service without our prior written consent. Feedback and suggestions you provide about the service may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

Acceptable use

Do not upload or create content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, harassing, hateful, obscene, or otherwise harmful. Do not use the service to distribute malware, spam, or unsolicited commercial messages. Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other users' accounts, or the underlying systems. We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion.

Membership and billing

Beadloom Studio offers free and paid (Pro) membership tiers. Paid memberships are billed through Paddle, our merchant of record. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan) until you cancel. Prices are subject to change with notice. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal; your Pro features remain active through the end of the current billing period.

Refunds and cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of your request and the policies of Paddle, our merchant of record. Generally, refunds are available within 14 days of a new purchase or renewal. To request a refund, contact support@beadloomstudio.com with your account email and order details. Refunds are issued at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law. See our Refund Policy page for full details.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beadloom Studio and Jing Qin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ten US dollars ($10.00) if you have not made any payments.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jing Qin and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your content, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Disclaimers

Beadloom Studio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Pattern exports should be reviewed before purchasing materials or starting production β€” we are not responsible for material costs or production errors based on exported patterns.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jing Qin is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall first be addressed by contacting us at support@beadloomstudio.com. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction, as determined by local law.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, including if we believe you have violated these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
